1st Floor going up!!!

I can't believe how fast the frames are going up!!

I wished our house was higher!!! We had to cut 100mm  to avoid dispensation. :(

Windows and sliding doors are on site.

Drove to our site today and found our windows and sliding doors on site ready to be fitted. Our SS said that the windows should be fitted next week so hopefully it doesn't get damaged before then.

Our White terrace sliding doors? These look like it will be damaged since the cover has been taken off and the 1st floor still has not been constructed yet.

Ground floor frames are coming up!

My hub and I went to our site today and saw that the frames are going up very fast.

I received a call from our SS today, he was very apologetic about not calling until today. He seems to be very friendly and we have set a date for site inspection for the frame stage. Everything so far seems to be good. 

Got a reply

I received a email from my CSA apologising  for not receive my email which I had sent on 17th. Lucky I had sent her an email through 24/7 about that email, so everything is settled. I called her today to get my SS's contact details and to clarify that the glass balustrade continues around the stair void on the first floor. I was worried that it would have a dwarf wall as per the waldorf display in point cook. (Thank you tstr1a for sharing the photo's of the display home in point cook)

The dwarf wall which we do not want, and confirmed with our CSA that it will be glass balustrade.

I received my tax invoice for the base stage today :( .  I told my CSA that the SS has not contacted me as yet and she was surprised that he has not called me to introduce himself at this stage. She informed me that she had left him a voice message to call me. I will probably give him a call tomorrow if he doesn't call me before lunch to arrange for a site meeting. Hopefully he will be a nice and helpful guy who orgainised and efficient.

Frame Stage start

Today we drove by our block just to see if construction has stopped as we have not received our revised final working drawings but nope, frame has started. I have emailed my CSA and also pm Jess from Team PD, will see if I get any reply on Monday.

Our slab was poured and completed on May 17th.

I thought that building our garage on zero boundary means that there will be no fence?

In the beginning

We purchased our land with the help of our very friendly sales consultant A.P from PD at the end of last year. We had decided to build the Brookvale but after the tender appointment we decided not to go ahead due to the shock we received for the price of the site costs. 

It was meant to be as the floor plan did not really suite our needs. We love the Waldorf's floor plan and with the help of A.P we managed to change the floor plan to our requirements, and so we proceeded.

Our site start was for April but actual construction started on May 5th.

Our footpath was damaged in the process though :(. Had informed our CSA to pass the info to our SS whom we have not had the pleasure to meet or talk to as yet.
